Woodshop 301: Epoxy River Coasters

Make a beautiful coaster set while learning about resin.

Service Description

This is a two session course for making beautiful wood and epoxy resin river coasters for your home. The session will be at the same time on the same day of the week for two consecutive weeks. Create a beautiful wood and resin coaster set with Tyler. You’ll learn about woodworking tools, deep pour epoxy resin & epoxy resin molds, and make your own set of coasters to take home. You will need to attend two sessions to complete your project. Each session will take about 90 minutes to two hours. Students should come to the class with closed-toe shoes and long pants. Avoid loose clothing, long sleeves, gloves, and loose jewelry. Class size: 6 age restrictions: 15 and up (15-17 with an adult) Class is taught by our Woodshop Lead Tyler Vaughan, if you have any questions about this class you can contact him here tjv14@hotmail.com. He has taught countless woodshop classes here at the space, including Loyola High School Woods 1 since joining us as a shop lead back 2019.
