Do you need band shirts?...print your own.. like that style of poster?.. Go print your own! In this lesson you will learn the basics of Silk Screen Printing, and we will print a Makerspace T-Shirt that you can take home with you. Important Note: Wear "work clothes" that you dont mind getting dirty/ink stained, Also contact us with your shirt size, to make sure we have your size in stock age restriction: 13 and up or accompanied by an adult We will go over: *Walk through of the dark room *Process of emulsion *Exposing the screen on the light table *Spray booth operation, to blow out the screen *Will be printing on a prepared screen (Makerspace Design) operating the big printing press. * Lining up layout, flood screen, pull to print * Flash dryer to heat and cure the ink and bingo bango and you have your first printed shirt! This class is the FIRST in a series of courses that you will need to take to get you certified to use the print shop independently. Make it a fun night out!
