Service Description

Metal Sculpture This is a fun course to help make a sculpture of your choosing. Pick one of our prefab projects that get welded together OR go free style and make something that is all your own. Discover the creative process of metal. Whether you’re a novice or have some skills already, make some awesome metal yard art or rustic home decor with Dustin Swiers! - Safety comes first so wear appropriate clothing: closed toe shoes, work clothes that can get dirty or singed, preferably jeans and a long sleeve 100% cotton shirt (synthetic fabrics can be flammable) and your hair up. Here's the game plan: choose one of our prefab metal projects or discuss ideas of a unique sculptural project with Dustin quick overview of safety and welding techniques make your sign or project functional by welding on a post, stand, or hangers (your project could become a garden decoration, mailbox adornment, or wall mounted sign) Sign up with Friends! We have all been cooped up during these strange and stressful times. Many of us are trying to find fun and safe activities to do with friends and family to help us reconnect after being apart for so long. Rest assured that the Makerspace staff are doing their best to keep this a safe environment with extra cleaning and safety protocols. High traffic surfaces are wiped down with disinfectant, but please help us out by following these protocols: If you have been feeling sick please communicate with the instructor to postpone or reschedule.
