Service Description
Leatherworking is such a fun and versatile skill! Need a belt? Make it! Need a purse MAKE IT! Join us down at the Mankato Makerspace to be creative and make cool leather products. Come in with an idea of things you might like to make (belt, purse, wallet, bracelet, flask holder, journal/ book cover, shoes ..Sky's the limit! Check out google or Pinterest for ideas) Pegeen is an excellent instructor and has over 30 years of leather working experience, she will help you throughout the entirety of your project, from selecting leather, to cutting and assembling, to customizing details. If you have leathering working tools at home, don’t be afraid to bring them, If not, no worries Pegeen should have everything you will need here. She has projects for ALL ages and skill sets ( Children 8 and under must be accompanied by an adult.) Due to each project and student is unique, this course could be a 1 day build up to a 4 day build, depending on the complexity of the project. Tickets can be purchased for Individual Sessions, which are $15, or you could get the 4 Session Package for $40. The cost of these sessions is for space and training. Materials Costs will be arranged separately.
