Service Description

Want to learn the molten mysteries of glass working? We will give you hands-on experience and one on one instruction about glass blowing (torch work) basics. This class will introduce you to how glass moves in its liquid state and how it can be manipulated in a stress-free environment! Participants will receive personal instruction about glass working basics, safety, equipment use, torch techniques, and kiln annealing. You will be making your very own colored necklace pendant in this lesson! This course is designed for beginners who are enthusiastic about trying new things and want to learn the mysterious art of glass working in a safe and encouraging environment. TICKETS : -Class size is two students max. -1 ticket per student -Sign up with a partner! so you can enjoy this exciting new experience with your significant other, bestie or family member. -Your ticket covers all class fees which pay for fuel and materials, equipment use and kiln annealing (pendants will need to go through an overnight annealing cycle and can be picked up at the Makerspace the following day or if you live out of town can be sent to you via postal service).
