Want to learn the molten mysteries of glass working? We will give you hands-on experience and one on one instruction about glass basics. Giving you a chance to get a feel for how the glass moves and can be manipulated. In this lesson we will be making Mushroom pendants.

About the event
Perfect class for anyone who wants to see and feel what torch glassblowing is like in a low risk, super fun and chill class to get their "feet wet." Participants will receive personal instruction about glass working basics, safety, equipment use, torch and glass techniques. You will be making your every own mushroom pendant in this lesson! This course is designed for beginners who are enthusiastic about trying new things and want to learn the mysterious art of glass working in a safe and encouraging environment.
HERE’S THE GAME PLAN:
-sign up for a ticket- (2 people Max) sign up with a partner! so you can enjoy this exciting new experience with your significant other, bestie or family member
PLEASE Register and Purchase Tickets well before class starts ( Register No Later than 2PM the day of class, this is important so the instructor can have enough supplies prepped ) Walk-In tickets will be an additional $10
your ticket covers all class fees, which are used for: fuel/ material cost, equipment use and maybe annealing if you want to keep your creation (pendants will need to go through an overnight annealing cycle and can be picked up at the Makerspace the following day or if you live out of town can be sent to you via postal service for additional shipping cost)
-When you get here: Teacher will first demonstrate how to create the project, then students will have one on one instruction while they take their turn on the torch. (One student will create while the other observes, then students will switch) 3 hour course
( Dustin is really an easygoing, patient, and passionate instructor, he will help make you feel comfortable right away in the processes of glassworking and ease any anxieties you might have about trying this new art form.)
