Customizing Textiles

 Join Echocce in a basic sewing lesson about textile customizing. Children will bring in a clothing item, stuffed animal, pillow, or pillow cloth to customize with embroidery, buttons and fabric patches

NOTE* if you do not have something to send with your child let us know and we can have something ready for their arrival.

Reframing the question; what can I get ≠ what can I do ?

Subjects include : Fast Fashion facts boredom and hobby’s

Vocabulary terms : Up-cycling and Expression

Activity : conversation and basic needle and thread techniques

Material : fabrics, needle and thread, scissors, stencil shapes, thimbles

Sat morning 10-11:30am

classes for ages 6-12 years old. -Older kids may attend as along as they are respectful while younglings are around. 

10 students per class

6 tickets at $15 and 4 tickets FREE for low-income families  provided from grant funding
