About the event

This class will focus on the basics of Hand Building.. making Functional and Sculptural work using Coils, Slabs, Pinch and Decorative Carving

NOTE: you may take this class as many times as you would like. Each session we will continue to develop skills and techniques.

It’s time to have fun getting down and dirty with some clay. Make sure you wear old clothes, close toe shoes and if you have long hair throw it up for the night.

We have all been cooped up during these strange and stressful times. Many of us are trying to find fun and safe activities to do with friends and family to help us reconnect after being apart for so long.

Rest assured that the Makerspace staff are doing their best to keep this a safe environment with extra cleaning and safety protocols. High traffic surfaces are wiped down with disinfectant, but please help us out by following these protocols:

If you have been feeling sick please communicate with the instructor to postpone or reschedule. Open communication is Key!

Sanitize your hands and Sign in when you arrive, Wear your masks, Have A Blast During Class, Wash your hands periodically, Sign out before you leave.
